I feel like I should be angry, but I'm not. It's Schrodinger's competition: the winners were never chosen, so what has actually changed?
Nothing? Everything?
I didn't enter, so to me, nothing. The dice are being rolled again, and the odds are EXACTLY THE SAME even if you entered the first time.
I think you misunderstood my comment. I'm talking about The Order, not Bloodborne :)
Yeah, this. I'm not entirely sure what this article is trying to argue, and I did actually read it!
No. Because Bloodborne revealed great gameplay, had great previews/betas/hands-on, and seems set to be a great game. (fingers crossed, I can't wait!)
Unlike The Order. Also, since when is accurately reporting on hands-on sessions and game length 'smearing' or 'double standards'?
Double standards would have been really positive previews followed by mixed reviews.
It's 2099p.
Pence, that is.
I really, really, REALLY don't need this. I don't need any of these.
SO WHY AM I BUYING IT?!!
I think Nintendo and Steam should team up.
Steam Machines get more living room clout, Ninty gets a new audience... okay, wait, perhaps I need a coffee. Disregard.
OT: More Japanese developers are seeing Steam as a great way of tapping back into a worldwide/western audience with minimum expense, and that's awesome.
@Relientk77: Yup, have drooled over it for years but my Japanese is broken and weak at best. Only really import action games as I lose all the subtlety of dialogue-heavy RPGs.
Yeah, it feels a lot like that. Mind you, considering how much fun Hyrule Warriors was, I'm game for a mash up if it works.
Yeah, the Tales games are a really nice compromise between real-time action and strategy. DQH is much more about the action as far as I can see, though, which will be fun, but might make me hungry for more turn-based slimy shenanigans.
Fingers crossed. Would really love a PS4 remake of VIII.
Yup. "Buy the action hybrid, then maybe we'll release DQX, VII or XI! Dance, puppets! Dance for your Dragon Quest!"
Okay, I'm being melodramatic. I'd buy DQH anyway. :P
"But yeah, laughing at Evolve."
Yeah, Fable Legends has learned a lesson there.
Don't release a niche game as a full-price AAA and then charge for content! Instead, release the game free and then charge for convenience.
I know, right? Fable 2 was cool because it played itself for laughs and was full of silly humour.
Fable 3 tried to make us care, but we can't care about a world that's designed to be a joke! Plus, it was balls. Dat sanctuary tho.
I wonder if Ninty will pull another crazy Nintendo Direct reveal.
"The Devil's Third will release... ON THE eSHOP RIGHT NOW!"
Yup. I literally couldn't care less about the franchise (too long in the tooth) or the premise (4v1... great), but if it's free I will at least try it and perhaps love it.
To be honest, I kinda hope that The Order gets a Vita spinoff rather than a sequel.
Why? Because R@D are great at handheld games, but stumble at home console development. Just look at their track record.
Dear scientists,
Please could you crack on with jetpacks, star fleets and curing cancer before testing obvious videogame logic?
Ta,
Stupid people like me.
I value mine at around £25, which is what I bought Akiba's Trip for :P
Actually really liked it.
@aragon: Sorry! I guess *I* misunderstood. :P
